Dr. Marxer is Swiss-U.S. trained, with more than 20 years of clinical experience using the Polatest. The Zeiss manufactured Polatest was designed by H.-J. Haase. His MKH (Measuring and Correcting Methodology by H.-J. Haase) is a strategy for prism correction of vision imbalance.
Subtle differences in functioning of two eyes could occur: how they work together, degree of tilt when moving around, or difference of perceived image sizes.
The test charts included in the Polatest are used in Germany, Switzerland and Scandinavia. In the U.S., the Polatest and MKH solution to vision imbalance is uniquely provided by Dr. Marxer. He knows what it's like to feel 'not quite right'. Please read Dr. Marxer's personal story.
Dr. Marxer excels at finding solutions that give you comfortable vision. Do you have a 'complicated' eyeglass prescription? Perhaps most of your vision prescription could be put into contact lenses, with the remainder of your prescription put into eyeglasses worn together with your contact lenses. This combination strategy would significantly decrease the thickness of the lenses in eyeglasses, providing you with excellent vision and attractive styling in eyewear.
